Inorganic anti-mite

SEGUROCERA

SEGUROCERA is inorganic anti-dustmite material that combined boric acid, alkaline earth, silica acid etc. at high temperature, and then pulverized this composition from several µm to several ten µm.
SEGUROCERA doesn't kill mites by volatility substances such as nerve poison used for ordinary organic anti-dustmite material, nor repel mites by volatilizing organic substances which mites dislike. SEGUROCERA disturbs the moisture balance of mite, and leading them to some condition as thirst. It makes mite's reproduction ability weaken, and inhibits their multiplication. As it is inorganic, it has a long time effect against dustmite and does not have hazardous effect to human beings at all.

The necessity to be anti-dust mite

(1)The condition of mite multiplying

Such mites which are apt to cause allergy as D.Pteronissius and T. putrescentiae have a worldwide distribution, and these mites vigorously multiply under the condition at temperature 20℃ to 30℃, higher than 60%R.H. (the best condition is 60 to 80%R.H.) They prefer to live close to human living space, especially in carpet, sofa, bedding, stuffed doll, and so on. because there are many such food for mites as dirt, dandruff etc. ,and there are moisturized comfortably by human sweat.

(2)Influence of mites for human body

Allergy caused by mites has been being a serious problem in the world. Especially recent home environment which controlled room temperature in highly sealed house is apt to good condition for mites to multiply through all season. In consequence, House dustmite which consist of mites dead body and their waste has been increasing rapidly in house. This allergen value are higher than other substances, and even a few, these are easily to grow human an allergy as asthma, Rhinitis, Conjunctitis, Dermatitis.

  • Primary skin irritation

    No skin irritation response was observed an albino rabbits during or after the skin irritation test suggested in the OECD Chemical Substance Toxicity Test Guidance.(1981)

  • Mutagenicity

    The mutagenicity test based on the bulletin No.77 of the Labor Ministry of Japan (1st Sep.1989 )resulted in no increase in reverse mutation and mutagenicity was confirmed to be negative.

  • Skin sensitization

    The skin sensitization test using maximization method demonstrated no skin sensitization on guinea pigs.
